Brandon M. Smith

Attorney Brandon Smith joined Graff & McGovern as a law clerk in 2016. Upon admission to the Ohio Bar in 2017, Brandon was promoted to Associate Attorney.
Brandon represents Ohio licensed professionals in front of state boards and agencies. Brandon also handles real estate matters including transactional work and landlord-tenant disputes.
A native of Michigan, Brandon received his undergraduate degrees in history and economics from Michigan State University in 2013. Brandon’s study of history included an honors thesis on twelfth century English law. Fascinated by the subject, Brandon chose to pursue a legal career upon graduation.
Brandon received his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2017. Brandon graduated magna cum laude and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif. While at Moritz, Brandon served as a managing editor of The Ohio State Law Journal and participated in numerous moot court competitions including the 2017 Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Moot Court Competition where his team reached the quarterfinals.
Brandon is admitted and qualified to practice in all state courts of Ohio.
